i want to no if i can put another persons name on the deed to my house i'm getting a divorce and my wife's name is not on the house but i want to protect it from her. So is it legal for me to add a name that will protect my interest to the deed

First, adding another person's name to your home will not protect it from equitable division by a court. Secondly, if you have already filed for divorce there is an automatic restraining order on all property and finances. You may not transfer assets or property during a pending divorce.
