Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

How can I reduce my child support order? I have been paying for 2 children which I havnt seen in over 2 years (the mother wont let me) I also have 1 child 6 months living with me. I cannot offord my rent after CS. I cannot offord food. Utilities. Anything after my child support is deducted. I make 200 a week after. The mother is collecting everything from the state and unemployment. She is the one who took the kids away from me to be with someone else. I don't even have access to there address. I will also be paying more in 2 weeks because I have to pay another 190$ for healthcare. So I'll make 10$ a week! I am very scared to go to court. I believe I have a warrant for not attending a past court date from 2000. I have also had numerous problems with the mother crying wolf to the police about me. I havnt seen her or my children's in almost 3 years.

You file a Complaint requesting a reduction in child support based on circumstances. That is all you can do. The warrant should not be outstanding from 2000 for failure to appear.

If your wife is residing with someone else she that should be taken into account as well.

I think you should absolutely hire an attorney. You need to have somebody on your side who can respond appropriately to improper threats on her part. It sounds like neither of you has done much to enforce your current orders. It simply might be time to go back into court and revisit your obligation for child support, as well as your rights to visitation and other parenting time. You really should have counsel, and I welcome you to contact our office.
