Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

an ex won't return child on stipulated day

My ex and I agreed to suspend our sons mid-week overnights with my ex during the school year. Instead -my ex kept our son over on the Sunday night of his scheduled weekend. Now that the summer is upon us we were to have reverted back to the stipulated schedule (every other weekend Friday 6p.m. thru Sun 6 p.m. and Wed nights as well). My ex just e-mailed me to tell me that he would not return our son tommorrow evening. I explained to him, once again, the arrangement we all agreed to and told him I expected my son returned. He has refused a second time by e-mail

Should I go to his home with an officer if he is not here by 6 pm tommorrow evening?

It is also key to know that he is taking me to court seeking to gain physical custody of our son and has also threatened to not return him before. Both times now, he has done, it has been after he has secured our son son for the weekend and after hours on the weekened when I can not get in touch with my lawyer.

Help!!
