Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Hi:In 2010 i settled a defamation case in Florida. The agreement was that neither the defendant nor i post any statements about one onother publicly. I recently discovered that my attorney,a total incompetent, who was my reason for settling the case for no money, slipped a clause in the agreement stating that neither the defendant nor i can publish anything about our attornies also. Is this valid?

That sounds unusual, but unfortunately I can't answer your question (and I don't think anyone can), without first reading the agreement. I suggest that you take it to an attorney and have them review it.
