Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

a parent goes away over night and leaves 2 teenagers home alone and the teenagers have a party with underage drinking in the house...something gets damaged...who is legally responsible to pay for damages? and does the parent who was away hold any responsibility for the underage drinking?

"Something gets damaged"? What does that mean? Something in the house? Something somewhere else? Who damaged it, and how did it happen? You'll have to be more specific about that information. Regarding the underage drinking, you don't whether the parents left the alcohol in the house, or whether the kids brought it in themselves after the parents left. You also don't indicate whether the police were involved. Unfortunately, without this additional information, it is difficult to give you a specific answer.
