Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

a question about due process

I am being sued by a company in Mass, they sent a woman here to serve papers on me, I didnt identify myself to her , she left the papers anyway, they were not dated or signed, and she left the original not a copy. Since they were not dated on the day she left them, have I been legally served? Im inclined to think not. thank you for your help.
