can the employer change the times submitted on a time without notifying the employee?

An employer has to pay on the basis of work performed. If the employee is working more than the employer is crediting, the employer is wrong. However, the employer is not bound by what the employee says he or she worked. The employer, in paying an employee by the hour, must provide a paystub showing the hours worked.
