Legal Question in Employment Law in Massachusetts

i recently got fired from my job right after i was on a week leave for a back surgeury .... i am a pca (personal care ass) i had a doctores note to return to work on mon july 5 .... the night before i was supposed to work which was july 4th i had recieved a text message from the lady saying for me not to come in that she has my shift converd because she didnt want me to further hurt my back due to the tranistion from her bed to the wheel chair i have to carry her .... so then i proceded to text her n tell her i was fine i have a doctors note to return on mon n my back surgery had nothing to do wit work ... it was a infecnction that i was growing n it needed to b removed n rest for a week n im back to normal i made shure i mad that clear ...... i have been calling them since mon n they have been giving me the run around for 3 days ... my boss finally called me yesterday ... which is the person who does the pay roll for this lady cause she is desabled ...... she didnt know what was going on .... but she told me that the lady said it wasnt going to work out .... there is no reason on y ...i also told the lady that i was gunna get a lawyer because i have a doctors note n ive been tryna come back to work but they told me no.... i dont know what to do at this point .... do i sue .... what can i do ..... as my rights
