Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts
Several items in our house have been destroyed by mice during our tenancy, totaling about $350-$400. Our landlord disavows responsibility for this, despite the fact that we notified him of the mouse problem, and it took him 2.5 years to hire an exterminator. Should he be responsible based on MA statute (landlord responsibility to rid house of vermin)?
