Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Massachusetts

I live in a building with 3 apartment units that are owned by the Housing Authority. I was recently sent an addition to my lease to sign agreeing to mow the lawn on a set scheduled basis set down by a calendar. The agreement also stated that if I am injured in the process, I or my heirs, will waive the right to sue for any death or bodily injury. Is this legal?

Consider retaining an attorney to revie your entire lease before signing this addition. Good Luck!
