Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Massachusetts

Liens in Escrow
Is it legal for the lawyer who hold the lien money in this case $30,000 to take money out for his services and the Bankruptcy's lawyer's services who reopened the case. THe lawyer who hold the funds gave the Bankruptcy Lawyer $450.00 without my knowledge. He wants more on top of that.

The answer depends on what the purpose of the lien was for, and under what license he held the funds.
