Car accident question

If a minor has is involved in a car accident and it is deemed an accident by the police. The person he/she hits has hip surgery/due to broken hip and dies from a heart attack during therapy for the hip. He is now taken to court and sentenced. He is now being resentensed and is now an adult. Can he be tried as an adult even though the accident happend when he was a minor?

Re: Car accident question

You are asking a criminal question.

I am confused. If I understand:

1.The minor is charged and then either pleads or is sentenced after a trial.

2.Later the minor is charged again, and this time as an adult on the same or similar charges, and the result is another sentence?

This is quite confusing. Why don't you call me at 978.749.3606 and explain the problem.
