Legal Question in Personal Injury in Massachusetts

Is G negligent for not providing safe passage across the state highway?

R drove to the dog races at G Park. R parked in G Park's parking lot and walked a short distance to the edge of the lot on Route 1, a state highway. This road had to be crossed to get to the dog track. While crossing Route 1, R was struck by V, a drunk driver, and injured. R sued G Park for medical costs alleging G Park failed to use reasonable or ordianary care by not providing safe passage for R over Route 1. Should R win? Why or Why not?

Explain why should G be blamed for R failure to be alert when crossing a major highway. It is probably not foreseeable the way you described it.
