Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Massachusetts

I have a month to month lease with my landlady. I've been paying rent but found out that the house is (in the process? or completed?) being foreclosed. I called the lawyer representing the bank and she said the house is set for auction in 2 weeks. Does this mean its already been foreclosed? What are my legal rights? I just want a good amount of time to move out - like 2-3 months (very strapped for cash right now). I've also heard of cash for keys? Is there anything I can do so I dont get screwed since I've been paying rent and will get screwed out of my "last" rent, security deposit, and money owed to me by the landlady. I just need time to move out! I live in mass.

You should be fine. Moreover, your landlady may in fact retain the property. Many foreclosures are cancelled. You will have the same lease with the bank that you had with the landlady. The bank may also be willing to do cash for keys.
