Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Massachusetts

i am very interested in law. i have business law books, as well as supreme court decision books. unfortunately, we see alot of stories of sexual abuse of children in the news. some of these incidents occured 10,20 years ago. i thought there was a statute of limitations on these types of crimes. can you please explain.

Re: sexual abuse

In MA a victim of sexual abuse as a minor has 3 years from age 18 to sue OR three years from the date s/he rememberd the abuse OR three years from the date the victim connected the abuse with adult psychological damages.
