Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

My sister says there's a note missing that says my deceased mother is willing her daughter 10,000.There is nothing in the will or anywhere that says this. Do i go ahead and distribute the money as willed or what. This is the first i've heard of this matter.!!!

A note that does not meet the requirements of a will has no legal effect. Even if the note is produced, it is unlikely to be valid. Without the note, it is nothing. However, you should do an accounting before you distribute the money and give your sister the ability to object to the accounting so she can present her argument to a judge.
