Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

stealing from an estate

I am executrix for my husband's estate. Before he died he wanted his corvette sold to help me with bills while I tried to sell the house. My son took the title to the car and said his father signed it over to him. I know he didn't and could prove it. I had to sell the house at a loss because I couldn't afford it. My lawyer said we would deduct the value of the car from his share but that doesn't seem right to me. He committed a felony, affected the sale of the house and I'm suppose to give him even more? What can I do about this?
