Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan

We are a Property Preservation business located in Michigan, One of our clients has not payed us in weeks (months). We perform maintenaince work on foreclosed homes for this client and they owe us in excess of $90,000.00. The client is located in Texas. We have been calling and speaking to the clients owners and accounting department only to be promised payment and never recieving it. They have recently stopped answering our calls and emails. We would like to know what our best course of action would be.

You will need to hire an attorney to protect you interests and get in contact with the company. It may be here or in Texas, depending on your contract. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz

To whom it may concern:

You would attempt to negotiate a "contingency" or mixed contingency fee to control your legal cost. You would hire a lawyer in Texas; unless somehow the MI "long arm" statute applied. We have a Texas case managing attorney on staff, and offices in Michigan. Call us for a free consultation. 866 374 1199
