Legal Question in Technology Law in Michigan

internet harrasment

What can I do if someone who I do not know posts personal information about me online, that I did not give them? Such as email addys, myspace addresses, phone numbers, pictures, Full name, etc. And if I never posted this publicly on any forum or anywhere else how can I get them to stop?

If you have made your information public, then it is free to the rest of the public to use. The only way to get this to stop is to change your information and do not give it out, or to contact each distributer individually and request that your information be removed.

If you would like further information please visit my website at www.lawrefs.com or contact me directly via email.

You have the right to preserve your privacy and have images taken down in most cases. I have assited many clients with this type of thing.
