Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

Bank Account Garnished for wrong amount

I have a judgement against me for an outstanding debt on a CCD. Recently I was unable to make my monthly payment that was agreed to in the settlement. My bank account was garnished by the collector, however, they attempted to take the worng amount. They attempted to take more than what wa owed, and have admitted this and stated it was the result of a typo. Do I have any legal grounds against them for this?

Re: Bank Account Garnished for wrong amount

Was the wrong amount actually taken or was the amount above and beyond the judgment kept/returned?
