Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

How can I get U.S. Bank to stop calling me for my son's auto loan debt? I have told a few different reps that I (someone my son listed as a reference/contact on his original application with U.S. Bank for an auto loan) am not a good contact number for MY SON and to cease and desist calling me. Everyday they are harrassing me about his missed payments-even after I have provided them with his telephone number. Today I was told to send a letter requesting they stop calling but then the same rep refused to give me the address. Please help. I want the calls to stop!!

Please don't fret as this is good news for your son. If you can bear the calls further, please do as each call represents leverage and cash in negotiating down the debt of your son's loan. If you are not in a position to continue to put up with the calls, do put your issue in writing. If they continue to call you, keep a detailed log and eventually write to them requesting settlement or you will sue them.
