Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

I bought some books, laptop computer and printer from the College Bookstore store in Michigan. After I got home the store noticed they forgot charge me for the laptop ($1200.00). The next day the store called my house and they want me return to the store and pay for the laptop. Do I have to, or is that the store misstake for not ringing up all the items. Is there legal problem that I might run into or should I just go and pay for it.
