Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Michigan

My wife has $20,000 Bank of America credit card in her name only. She does not work and I am self employed. I had to stop paying and am thinking they may sue her. How will if affect me? Can my wages be garnished since she does not work?

No, but they can garnish any joint bank account that contains your wages or execute on any jointly owned personal property. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss further. Tim Klisz
