Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

Illegal Entry

The cable man came into my home without an appointment at all. My 12 year old son was home alone. The man said he was in the area now and had to come in right then. The cable man told his boss that there was an adult here. I was working. I figure since I scolded my son that I will make sure this man gets in trouble also. What are my legal rights please...thank you

An attempt to use the law to revenge yourself against someone who probably made an innocent mistake - causing you no harm - should be of no interest to any law enforcement official or any lawyer.

Making sure this man "gets in trouble" is not an accepted remedy in our legal system.
