Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

what options do I have if my attorney did not act upon the witnesses and trial process that I wanted and he proceeded in another way altogether opposite and I lost the case due to lack of witnesses and no credibility witnesses on my defense?

Probably nothing in regard to this case. Just hire another lawyer the next time. You have the final decision in whether you testify. Beyond that, the lawyer ultimately has to make the final decisions about what witnesses to call, what theory of the case to present, etc. The lawyer went to law school and passed the Bar exam, not you. The fact that this lawyer's presentation didn't work doesn't mean that yours would have.

I have been in trials where the defense attorney "presented his client's case" (meaning, the witnesses and theory that the client wanted but now what the lawyer wanted). It never worked out well for the defendant.
