Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan
Speeding/Drugs
A friend of mine was stopped for speeding. They ran his license and found out he was driving on a suspended license. Then they made him step out of the car and searched his car. They found a small quantity of marijuana in his duffle bag. Is that legal? Can they do that? What recourse does he have?
