Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

I have been considering writing a letter to the judge, D.A. and my probation officer asking for early termination of my probation. (in Michigan)

I feel like I don't want to stress the hardships that being on probation has caused me, as I feel they are part of the package deal with probation. It isn't about making my life easy. I did the crime. Although I would like to have an idea on which key points to hit on in my letter. I have completed over half of my probation, and have completed all of my requirements, plus some alcohol conseling and am in A.A. All good, I know. But what is that they really need to know about me and hear from me?

I am afraid to have good intentions but say the wrong thing, in just such a way, that it would lower my chances. Basically, what do they need to hear from me to realize it is a good decision to release me early from my probation?
