Wrongfully Charged Possession Case

My buddy was driving us around and got into an accident when we were both drunk. The cop came up to the car and asked me how much we had smoked. I asked him why he was asking me that and he told me there was a bowl in plain sight. He then asked if I had anything else on me so I handed over what I had, which was less than an eighth of marijuana. After all was said and done he said that since I was cooperative I was allowed to go home with just an M.I.P. A few days later there was a message for me from my step-brother saying to call a certain phone number as it was in my best interest. There was no indication of who the caller was. I tried to call that number for several days but it turned out that it was the wrong number. Then one day I came home and there was a note for me from my father saying I had to go talk to an officer at the police station and to bring 100 dollars or I would be staying in jail. It turned out that there was a warrant out for my arrest for a possession of marijuana. I had to have pictures and finger prints taken, then had to pay 100 dollars for bail for a charge I didn't even know I had.
