Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

2nd MIP

I recently received my second MIP in Michigan. When the officer was writing my two other friends their tickets for .10 BAC level she completely forgot to write my ticket. Since i thought she already did i asked for it (very stupid, i know). She thanked me for being honest and wrote my ticket but did not put a BAC level on the ticket. What does this mean? Would i have gotten out of a ticket if i didn't say anything? Does my honesty get me anywhere and can tickets get dismissed on technicalities?

I recommend that you meet with an experienced attorney to assist you with this criminal case. As second conviction on your record at this young age is very bad.

Re: 2nd MIP

If you honestly told her that you were drinking, she doesn't need to give you a breath test.

If you're still on probation from your first MIP, you could use some legal help.
