Legal Question in DUI Law in Michigan

Operating While Intoxicated

Hubby blew 0.09 in Taylor. He had a few beers and waited almost 2hrs before leaving, but still past legal limit. First offense. Also heard judge he may be in front of's son was killed by drunk driver. Any and all suggestions welcomed, please!

Hire an attorney. .09 is close enough to the legal limit that it may be defensible. Even if the case doesn't go to trial, you need an effective advocate to make sure that your husband doesn't go to jail.

I need to look at your police report to get an idea of what defenses may be available. I would recommend getting an attorney in front of Judge Sutherland, he is a tough judge.
