Unlawfully possession of controlled substance

My daughter got arested for the first time with possession of drugs. Unlawfully possess a controlled substance, to-witt: tetrahydrocannabinols (THC), contrary to Wis. Stats. Sec. 961.14(4)(t) and 961.41(3g)(e) Possession of a controlled substance. Do you think we need to get a lawyer?
