Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Not my child

Myself, and the mother of a child that was thought to be mine, had a DNA test conducted on the child. It turnes out that I'm not to biological father of the child. Now, the mother and myself need to know the legal way of removing my name from the birth record.

Re: Not my child

You may have to file an action in the circuit court to have a court order entered regarding the matter. This could be complicated if the mother is receiving social services. They will want to chase the father for support. For further info, call me at 248-353-9400. Bill Stern
