Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Custody

I was served with a temporary exparte order on January 7, 2009. My son isnt even 2 months old and I cant see him. How can a judge sign off on something that is just lies and alligations? I have the proof to back up everything that has been said. What should I do?

Re: Custody

You need to move fast, because you only have a very short time period to file an objection to the ex parte order, which is the typical thing to do if the allegations are not true. You also have a short time to answer the complaint, which I'm assuming you got with the ex parte order. Not doing either of these things on time is going to create a bigger problem down the road.

Good luck,
