Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

evedentiary hearing

Will you explain to me what an evidentiary hearing is? I have a court date set for a hearing and I would like to know if the judge makes a ruling at this hearing or will it be at another time? We are trying to move out of state with our child but my ex husband is fighting us.

Re: evedentiary hearing

An evidentiary hearing is a little trial on one or two issues. It is extremely important and should be handled by a lawyer, if the issue is at all important. It is interesting to me that people will always get a lawyer for any little injury case but on issues of exteme importance to their personal life, will go it alone. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
