Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I was just issued divorce papers today and a seperate eviction notice..by my wife...the divorce papers are stamped and signed by the courts..the eviction notice looks fake and not signed by the courts.Only signed by my spouses mother who owns the home...we have no lease..and I have been living here for 11 years. The eviction notice gives me 2-days to leave..legally how long can I live here..I reside in MICHIGAN

You should meet with a Huron County divorce attorney right away.

The eviction notice is likely a notice to quit. She would legally need to give you 30 days notice before filing an eviction complaint. If you request and pay for a jury, you can buy the most amount of time. You will eventually get evicted because the lease is month to month, but this is the best method of buying time. Good luck.
