Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Kids live with us, she wants them back, six years later.

My husband and his ex divorced in 2002 by 2003 he got custody of the children, because their mother was living in unstable conditions. In 2007, there was a court hearing; his ex filing to get one child as a dependent. She was declined and suggested by the judge that she could provide child support instead. In 2005, she had claimed one of her sons as a dependent in her household when my husband has legal documentation to claim both children to the age of eighteen, as of 2003. As of January 2008, the IRS asked and received proof that he had legal rights of both children. My husband's recent 5/20/2008 motion states he wants child support throughout the year so he can provide for the kids and get money to send the kids to summer day camp, twice a week. His ex's recent 5/28/2008 motion states that she wants to move the kids to her residence for school purposes and give their father weekend visitations. Or have the kids Fri-Sun night and take them to school on Monday. All summer and school breaks and alternate holidays. No child support, each parent gets to claim one of the kids as dependents for taxes. But their mother doesn't provide anything, medical or clothing wise. What are the odds of losing the kids after 6yrs?
