willing a minor child to someone else

We wish to make a will making my parents guardians of our minor child if something should happen to both of us. Is it legal to will a child to someone?

It is legal to indicate who you would like to raise your child but it is not binding on the court in the event that there is some dispute. It is merely something that a court can take into account. William S. Stern
