Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

primary physical custody

I have primary physical custody, and joint leagal custody. In the divorce papers it states that I decide all routine matters concerning the child. Does this include routine dental and medical check ups? And is a step parent allowed to take the child to medical and dental appointments? Thank you for your time!

The parent with physical custody makes the day to day decisions. A step parent can transport the child to a doctor, the same as if a parent could hire a service to drive the child somewhere. William S. Stern
