Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

My question is that I was informed by my 16 years old daughter, that she was sexually abuse when

she was 8 years of age, by a friend of the family. By the time frame involved I would like to know what actions can be taken? and what processors I can take to apprehend this situation.
