Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Reimbursement for medical bills

In our custody agreement, my ex was ordered to pay 68% of all uninsured medical. He stopped paying in 2005. He was behind on child support too, so I never brought up the medical, since he wasn't working. Now that he's working, We've had many conversations regarding this, but still he refuses to pay. What are my chances now that I've filed a motion to have him pay? The bills I've paid in one year are $1869.00 his portion is $1250.00. Origionally I told him $800.00 and he agreed to pay $400.00 at $25.00 per week. He never paid, so I got copies of all medical, prescription and dental and it totalled over $1800.00 . He says he won't pay, do I have a leg to stand on?

You do but only for the last year. You should consult a family law attorney.
