Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Relocating with Child

I wish to relocate with son. His father is against it. I would like to know what chances are in achieving this percentage wise? I wish to move back tohome State of Alabama. There is a lot going on, We are not married. We moved here due to his sister having family problems, he now has custody of his neice. The problem is...he will not let take his son. Neither of us have custodial rights as of yet. We have not gone to court and would wish to handle this ourselves. The problem is he wants his way. I do not wish to move our son away from him, there however is much verbal and emotional abuse from him. He made a verbal agreement to move here with our son and the agreement was to not get involved with other women as I am still emotinally rapped up in him and would have no family or friends ect. I do not work. I have found out that he has been lying since we got here and has been with numerous women. I feel its not a good enviroment for son. But most of all, I do not wish to live here in a State with no family, and have to see him doing these things and being forced to live here. I am not strong enough emotionally to be the best for son living near him he brags he gets it all

Re: Relocating with Child

You seem to be too messed up to deal with this man. When you get it together to do what is best for your child, then you'll get a lawyer and take care of business. Until then, it sounds like you will not succeed and your child may pay for your mental state. William S. Stern
