Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

my son 8 and my daughter 10, according to our paperwork, reside with their father in michigan during school and with me their mother (i reside in oklahoma) spend all holidays and vacations with me. Their father has taken a job working out of state and is only home to see them at most 4 days a month. The rest of the time they are wih family members and grandparents mosly. The grandparents are unfit, alholics who verbally abuse the children. I am recording all conversations form my daughter being yelled and cussed at constantly. Alexis is 10 and has spoken with her father on several occasions saying she would like to live here so she can be with her mom, who is able to be with her and her brother everyday. Both children are very unhappy and living in a very bad situaion. How do I go about getting them out of such an unhealthy home life and into a more sutable one with a stable parent, who can be with them in a home all the time? They are legal residents of michigan and i now am a legal resident of oklahoma?

Depends on where the divorce took place. If Michigan, Michigan court retains jurisdiction over the matter. You should ask the court to modify custody and child support arrangement. You should hire a lawyer to help you.
