My ex spouse has requested that his child support is lowered, we have a court date scheduled for tomorrow, I faxed a letter today consenting to the change. It is a 2.5 hour drive forme to get to the court house, do I still have to go to the court date if Ihave consented to the reduction? Will i be in contempt of court if I do not show up?

If you don't show up, he'll probably simply get what he asks for.
