Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

What can you do about a neighbor who is harrassing/defamating your character to everyone that she sees? She has called CPS claiming we beat our child, and locked him in his room.( CPS invested, and found nothing, becasue it was untrue.) We rent from the same landlord, she tried to get us evicted saying our child was mean to all the other kids in the neighoborhood (he is not), she has gone to all the other neighbors and told them we abuse our child, and we are bad parents and our child is mean and not to let their kids play with our child. There has to be some way for us to stop her from doing these things...Im exsaperated. Im afraid of what she is going to say we did next, beat our dog??? Please advise.
