Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Willful Teen

My sixteen year old son was told that he was not allowed to get his ears pierced til he was 18. His friend who is also a minor and whose family I am not on good terms with went ahead and pierced them for him. Can an action be taken againist the parents of the friend?

What would you expect to get for filing a lawsuit other than alienating your son and his friend?

Just because you can sue, doesn't mean you should. No rational attorney would take on a case whose only purpose is to exact revenge.
