court in Dec. paid back rent, asses court cost. current until 02/15/07 with rent. eviction noticed served due to non payment of court cost. When I inquired about total amt. due, was given a figure, paid that amount, thought all was clear. can I be evicted for non payment of court cost?

Most likely yes. If they asked for court costs at court, which most landlords remember to do, you must pay them before the account is actually current.

It is very often that landlords may not know the legal and court costs until several weeks later when they receive a notice from an attorney with those costs detailed in it. However, they are part of a judgment that is due before your court action is over and any judgment is released.
