Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Michigan

Can a judge discuss a pending case with an entire medical staff? I found out a judge went into a Dr.'s office and told them (4 staff members) she knew a defendant was guilty of murder but could not prove it but was going to proceed with the trial (this was while everything was pending, before all the defendant's evidence had been presented) . The defendant was later convicted. Is this judicial misconduct?

If you can prove what you are claiming, you need to report this to the Michigan Bar. They will investigate.
