Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Michigan

mortgage

I refinanced my home in June of this year. I coresponded with the mortgage company through email. He mislead me for about a month and a half. I saved all of his emails and printed them out. He promised me several different rates and payments none of which are even close to what I ended up with. By the time that I finally closed I had no choice, my mortgage payment that he told me not to make was late, I had paid $350 for an appraisal and could not afford another one, I was so frustrated at how he kept changing my payment and rate, even the email he said was final numbers was about $100 less than what I'm paying. Now I find out that my homeowners insurance was never paid from the amount at closing. I was told that it was paid for a full year. Now I have to come up with $785, I also do not think that the lady who signed as notary is even the one who came to my house to close. Is there anything that I can do about this. Like I said I kept all of my emails and I am getting a copy of the final paper work. Please let me know through an email

Re: mortgage

You had a 3 day right to recsission. You'll now be stuck with what is in the papers. As far as the homeowners insurance not being paid, call the title company about this. William S. Stern
