Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Michigan
I got into my x husbands 401k account by changing the password, could i get in trouble. The investment company sent me documentation with the web address. When we got divorced 5 years ago, our divorce agreement state I was to get half of the stocks through the airline. He tells me that there are no stocks left. The airline company was bought by anohter one. So the stocks are lost.
I was just trying to check and see if that was true or not. Now I am worried could I get in trouble for changing the password and looking at his account?
