Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

Car Accident

I was rearended while sitting at a stoplight recently. The other guy received a ticket from the officer. My car is totaled and I have a broken elbow. What is my next course of action? How much is the other person's insurance company liable for? Is it worth it to sue him?

Re: Car Accident

If you wish to discuss the possibility of a lawsuit please contact me directly. Michigan is a no-fault state which typically requires you to look to your own insurance first. This does not mean you do not have a potential lawsuit.I can better explain your options to you when we speak. Good Luck.

Re: Car Accident

You would need to have serious bodily injury in order to get around the no-fault statute.
